NORFOLK, VA -The Old Dominion swimming and diving teams are traveling to George Washington Saturday for a 12:00 PM swim meet. Both the men's and the women's teams come into the meet with 2-3 records after dropping both meets at home to Towson November 8. The Monarchs are back in action after taking part in the three-day Terrapin Cup Invitational Nov. 20-22 at the University of Maryland in College Park, MD.

Freshman Lauren Timby (Rochester, NY) has proved to be one of the most consistent swimmers on the women's team, regularly taking the 500-yard and 1650-yard freestyle events this year. On the men's side, diver Tommy Dingus (Falls Church, VA) has helped the team by taking first place finishes in most of the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events he's participated in.

The George Washington meet will be the last meet for the Monarchs this calendar year, next hosting the University of Maryland-Baltimore County Friday, January 16, at the J.C. "Scrap" Chandler Pool.
