ODU Releases 2011 Women's Lacrosse Slate

NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University women's lacrosse's will open the season at Louisville and will play seven games at the Powhatan Sports Complex, ODU head coach Sue Stahl announced on Tuesday.
The Lady Monarchs begin the season on Feb. 26 at Louisville before hosting their home opener on March 5 at 1 p.m. against American.
ODU will hit the road for a pair of road games at St. Joseph's and Richmond before returning home to play Longwood. The home stand is short as the Lady Monarchs head to Virginia Tech on March 26 before hosting Virginia on March 30 at 7 p.m.
Old Dominion once again hits the road play at North Carolina and James Madison. The Lady Monarchs enjoy their longest home stand of the season beginning April 10 when they host George Mason at 1 p.m., followed with games against Drexel on April 15 at 7 p.m. and Hofstra on April 17 at 1 p.m.
ODU makes its final road trip of the season traveling to Towson and Delaware before returning home to host William and Mary on April 27 at 7 p.m. in the season finale.
The Colonial Athletic Association Tournament will be held from May 5-8.
