LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. - Old Dominion University has all 10 wrestlers seeded, including three top seeds in the 2010 Colonial Athletic Association Championships, hosted by Rider University March 5-6.

Old Dominion, ranked 23rd in the nation, will be led by top seeds James Nicholson, ranked seventh in the nation at 125, Chris Brown, ranked 14th at 165 and Jesse Strawn, ranked 12th at 197.

The tournament begins Friday at 1:00 pm with the quarterfinals. Consolations begin at 4:00 pm and semifinals begin at 7:00 pm Friday.

Competition resumes Saturday at 10:00 am with the second round of consolations, with consolations and finals beginnings at 1:00 pm Saturday.

Rider University's Alumni Gymnasium will be the site of the 2010 Colonial Athletic Association Wrestling Championship tournament.

Old Dominion (10-5-1, 4-0-1 CAA) is the pre-tournament favorite, with Rider (15-6, 6-1 CAA), Binghamton (14-7-2, 4-1-2 CAA), Drexel (9-13, 3-4 CAA) and Hofstra (6-12-2, 4-3 CAA) all in the running for a conference title. George Mason (3-10-1, 1-4-1 CAA) was the last CAA team to win a conference title (2001) before Hofstra's eight-year run. Boston University (4-14-1, 2-5 CAA) and Sacred Heart (2-19, 0-6 CAA) complete the eight-team field.

Eight former CAA champions will be competing this weekend, and a total of 21 wrestlers who have finished in the top four in past CAA Championships will be competing.

The CAA grapplers will be vying for 18 automatic NCAA Tournament bids.

Nicholson and Brown captured CAA titles last season, while Strawn and fellow senior Eric Decker placed third.
