Norfolk, VA-Seniors Jen Henley (Chalfont, PA) and Emily Becker (Va. Beach, VA) combined for three first half scores this evening as the Old Dominion women's soccer team cruised to a 4-0 victory over St. Francis (PA). With the victory, ODU improves to 4-8-2 on the season. St. Francis falls to 7-9.

Henley got things rolling at the 17:45 mark, taking a deflected ball from teammate Melanie McGovern (Somerdale, NJ) and beating the Red Flash goalie for her first score of the evening. Seven minutes later she struck again, sending a blast to the upper right corner of the net for her fourth goal of the season. Becker notched her team-leading fifth goal of the season at the 38 minute mark, taking a long serve from defender Amanda Pietila (Telford, PA) and ripping a shot that went over the goalie's shoulder and to the far post.

The final score of the evening came courtesy of freshman Ashley Kramer (Jefferson Hills, PA), who tapped in her second goal of the year with assists from Elizabeth Gugliotti (Avon, CT) and Beth Miller (Hudson, MA).

St. Francis played hard till the final whistle despite the four-goal deficit. Red Flash goalie Allison Tidball made 13 saves on the evening.

The Lady Monarchs held a comfortable 26-8 cushion in shots and a 9-0 edge in corners. ODU goalies Alison Kinsler (Va. Beach, VA) and Stephanie Miller (Plymouth Meeting, PA) shared the shutout.

ODU will be back in action on Sunday, when they host Sacred Heart at 1 p.m.
