NORFOLK, Va. -- Are you ready for some football...Spring ODU Football that is. Don't forget to mark your calendars for these upcoming Monarch football events.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 3rd - SIGNING DAY
Listen to head coach Bobby Wilder at 4:30 p.m. on the Tony Mercurio Show broadcasted live from the Ted Constant Convocation Center prior to the ODU men’s basketball game with William & Mary. Aired on ESPN 94.1 FM, Coach Wilder’s portion of the show will be audio streamed live on ODUSports.com.

Attention Big Blue Club Members:
The Big Blue Room will open early on February 3rd in order for head football coach Bobby Wilder to introduce his 2010 recruiting class. Big Blue Club Members with tickets and Big Blue Room/VIP passes to the basketball game versus William & Mary will have access to attend the event. Doors to the Big Blue Room will open at 5:00 p.m. with Coach Wilder addressing the crowd at 5:30 p.m. followed by a recruiting highlight video.

FRIDAY, MARCH 26th - SPRING PRACTICE BEGINS
The Monarchs begin spring works outs with the first of 14 practices gearing up for a competitive 2010 slate this fall. Last season, the ODU offense finished third nationally in scoring offense averaging 35 points per contest, scoring 28 touchdowns in 39 red zone opportunities, and ranked 18th nationally in total offense averaging with just under 400 yards per game. The Monarchs were also second nationally in sacks allowed and ninth among all FCS schools in fewest turnovers on the year. Old Dominion will be getting ready for even tougher schedule in the fall, which features national semifinalist William & Mary and perennial top 25 member Cal-Poly.

SATURDAY, APRIL 24th - SPRING GAME
