See The New Home of ODU Women's Rowing

NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion women's rowing team has moved into its new home - the ODU Rowing Center - the two-story, 13,000 square foot facility located in Lakewood Park just minutes from the ODU campus.
Check out the boat bay storage space for approximately eight eights, six fours and over 12 pair/doubles and singles, including the new Pocock racing shells. Also take a peak at the team locker room, coaches' offices, the team lounge/study area with state-of-the-art technology, and the training/fitness area with space for 40 rowing machines and other training equipment.
The ODU women's rowing team kicks off the spring portion of its schedule with its training trip to Austin, Texas in early March, where they will face the University of Texas. They will also be on the water for the Occoquan Sprints before returning home to host the University of Miami for the first ever rowing event held with the new ODU Rowing Center. Also this spring, the Lady Monarchs will take on Bucknell and Colgate and also will row in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Championships and the Dad Vail Regatta.
