Women's Lacrosse: No. 19 Lady Monarchs Upended by No. 1 Maryland, 21-4

COLLEGE PARK, MD (March 25)-- Top-ranked Maryland knocked off Old Dominion, 21-4, March 25 in women's lacrosse action. Four different Lady Monarchs scored, but it was not enough to overcome the defending national champs.

Freshman Danielle Hensil (Havertown, PA) led the way for the Lady Monarchs with a goal and an assist, while Jenna Bajus (Annapolis, MD), Pam Seebald (Brightwaters, NY) and Dana Wisniewski (Collegeville, PA) each scored one goal. Lady Monarch goalkeeper Laurie Koller (Collegeville, PA) made 11 saves on the afternoon.

Jen Adams led the way for Maryland with five goals and four assists. Maryland improves to 7-1 on the year, while the Lady Monarchs fall to 2-5. Old Dominion returns to action on Sunday as they take on CAA-foe American at 1 pm.
