Monarch Swimmers and Divers Earn CAA Accolades

RICHMOND, VA (Apr. 18) - Old Dominion senior diver Kevin Harrison (Bethpage, NY) earned CAA Diver of the Year for the second straight year, while freshman swimmer Jamie D'Agostino (Ardsley, NY) earned CAA Women's Rookie Swimmer of the Year and Ashley Kirchner (Arlington, VA) earned CAA Women's Rookie Diver of the Year.

Harrison won both the one-meter and three-meter dives at the CAA Championships for the second year in a row. The senior also qualified for NCAA Deep Zones for the third consecutive year and leaves the Old Dominion program as the most decorated men's diver in history.

D'Agostino earns CAA Women's Rookie of the Year after winning the 500 and 1650 freestyle at the CAA Championships and finishing second in the 200 freestyle. She also set the Lady Monarch record in the 1650 freestyle, with a time of 16:49.03.

Kirchner earns CAA Women's Rookie Diver of the Year after winning the women's one-meter dive and finishing second on the three-meter board at the CAA Championships. She becomes the first Old Dominion women's diver to earn Rookie of the Year honors.
