Co-Ed Monarchs Finish Second in War Memorial

NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion's co-ed sailing team finished in
second-place today in the War Memorial regatta and qualified for the
Atlantic Coast Dinghy Championships next weekend (Nov. 13-14) at MIT in
Boston, MA. St. Mary's won the event, finishing with 104 points, followed
by ODU (116), Georgetown (122), Hobart William Smith (124) and US Merchant
Marine Academy (142).
A Division: Adam Burns/Heather Pescatello/Justin Castagne (2nd place/51 points)
B Division: Ryan Dunn/Liz Biondi/Tim Jansen (4th place/65 points)
Adam Burns (Youngstown, NY), Heather Pescatello (Westerly, RI) and Justin Castagne (West Indies) led the way for the Monarchs with a second place finish in A Division. In B Division, Ryan Dunn (Brick, NJ), Liz Biondi (Norwalk, CT) and Tim Jansen (Osterville, MA) combined for a fourth place finish.
