Old Dominion in Third, Fifth at Riley Cup

NORFOLK, VA (Sept. 11) - Old Dominion's co-ed sailing squads are third and fifth after one day of competition at the ODU Riley Cup. Old Dominion Silver, with Justin Castagne (Trinidad, West Indies) and Emily Ruiter (Freehold, NJ) in second place in A Division and Neil Ford (St. Johns, Virginia Islands) and Christine Vaughn (Norfolk, VA) in seventh place in B Division, is in third place with 57 points.

Old Dominion Blue, with Kate Chechak (Rochester, NY) and Christine Thomas (Norfolk, VA) in fourth place in A Division and Brock Callen (Chilmark, MA) and Lis Biondi (Norwalk, CT) in fourth place in B Division, is currently in fifth with 73 points. Georgetown leads the event with 30 points, followed by Navy with 38, Old Dominion Silver with 57, St. Mary's with 72 and Old Dominion Blue with 73.

The teams will return to action on Sunday.
