Seventh-Ranked Monarch Sailors Finish Fifth At Truxton

ANNAPOLIS, MD - Old Dominion's seventh-ranked co-ed sailing team finished in fifth-place at the Truxton Umstead four division regatta today. The Monarchs were led in A Division by Adam Burns (Youngstown, NY) and Heather Pescatello (Westerly, RI), who finished fifth.

St. Mary's College, ranked number one in the country, won the event, followed by #11 Charleston, #10 Navy, eighth-ranked Hobart William Smith and Old Dominion. Dan Lawrence (West River, MD), Christine Thomas (Norfolk, VA) and Ryan Dunn (Brick, NJ) finished 12th in B Division, while Brad Funk (Harbor Bluffs, FL) was fifth in C Division and Augi Hernandez (Arlington Heights, IL) was third in D Division.
