#19 West Virginia Defeats ODU, 3-0

Morgantown, WV-The nineteenth-ranked West Virginia women's soccer team used three second half scores to drop visiting Old Dominion this afternoon, 3-0. The Lady Monarchs are now 3-7-1, while WVU improves to 9-3-1.

After Mountaineer Chrissie Abbott put WVU on the board first at the 57:38 mark, junior defender Christen Seamen delivered the knockout goals. She scored her first goal of the game minutes after Abbott's strike, and converted a penalty kick in the 80th minute to seal the win.

Old Dominion has now lost five games in a row, and will stay on the road for their next two games. The Lady Monarchs will play at American on Friday, October 19 followed by a CAA match-up with George Mason on the 21st.
