Women's Golf in 13th Place at Unlimited Potential/Bay Tree Classic

MYRTLE BEACH, SC--Sophomore Megan Schaefer (Union, KY) shot a first round 78 Friday morning to place into a tie for 29th place at the 2005 Unlimited Potential/Baytree Classic hosted by the College of Charleston. Freshman Alexis Garduno (Sacramento, CA) shot an 81 for a spot in 53rd. As a team, the Lady Monarchs are currently in 13th with a team score of 334.

Middle Tennessee State is in first place after one round of play with a team score of 298. Host College of Charleston is in 2nd place after shooting 304 as a team. Angie Hill and Gretchen Zoeller of Charleston, Eva Cormann of Newberry, and MTSU's Jamey Dillard are the individual leaders after shooting opening day 73's.
