ODU Swimming Wraps Up Final Day Of Nike Carolina Classic

CHAPEL HILL, NC - The Old Dominion University swimming teams finished the Nike Carolina Cup with the men taking ninth overall and the women registering an eleventh place finish. The competition was held over a three day stretch from November 17-19, and featured many of the top teams in the country.

Monarch sophomore John Wall (Hoover, AL) took ninth in the 1650 free and finished 16th in the 200 back to lead the men. Lady Monarch swimmer Melody Wolff (Poughkeepsie, NY) finished ninth in the 200 back to lead the women.

Both Old Dominion teams will return to the water December 1-3, when they travel to Fairfax to compete in the George Mason Invite.
