NORFOLK, Va. -- The ODU Women's Soccer team announced they will host a Mother-Daughter clinic on April 5 from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at the ODU Soccer Stadium to benefit breast cancer research. The clinic is open to players of all ages and their mothers. All participants will partake in skill instruction along with a mother-daughter game. The price per family is $25.00.
All attendees will then be invited to stay for three Division I scrimmages featuring the Lady Monarchs, the University of Florida and the University of Virginia. At 2:00 pm, Florida and UVa will play an exhibition match. Immediately following, the Lady Monarchs will play host to UVa at 5:00 pm and to UF at 8:00 pm.
The Lady Monarchs are just one year removed from the first ever CAA Championship in program history. The Gators reached the NCAA Round of 16 in 2007 and boasted three All-Americans. UVa also reached the NCAA Round of 16 in 2007 and had two NSCAA First Team All-Americans. With five NCAA College Cup appearances combined in the last two years, these three teams will compete at an extremely high caliber of play.
