When did you begin playing football?
At age 6 or 7
Who has had the greatest impact on your career?
My mom and dad
Why did you choose to attend ODU?
It was a chance to be part of history
What has been the biggest difference between high school football and college football?
The total amount of work put in all year
What has it been the best part about being a member of ODU’s first football team in over 60 years?
Developing discipline in all aspects of my life and witnessing all of the support from around the community
If you could play another position what would it be and why?
I would play quarterback because it’s a completely different position and a part of football that I have never experienced before.
Favorite sports other than your own?
After meeting Coach Wilder for the first time, what were your thoughts?
I thought Coach Wilder was determined to make this a winning program and he was also set on making his players successful on and off the field.
After meeting your position coach for the first time, what were your thoughts?
I thought he was an energetic guy who loved the game and that he was a good person.
Do you have a pre-game ritual, if so what is it?
I sit around, keep to myself and pray.
What is your funniest memory from an ODU practice thus far?
When Coach Z tried to pronounce immunization
If you could line up opposite any player in the NFL and go 1-on-1, who would it be and why?
It would be Brian West because he is the most versatile and has the greatest impact on a defense in the NFL.

What is your most valued possession?
A picture of my daughter
What is your favorite place to eat on campus?
