Lady Monarchs Finish 14th At Nationals

CHARLESTON, SC. - The Old Dominion University women's sailors placed 14th at the Intercollegiate Sailing Association's (ICSA) national championships. After 18 races in both A and B division, ODU compiled 395 points. Host College of Charleston was crowned national champion with 207 total points.
Sailing A division for ODU were skipper Cara DiSanti (Seacliff, NY.), and crew Alissa Ayres (Trenton, NJ.), Jaci Finney (Hampton, Va.) and Jenica Ryan. They placed 14th with 194 total points. Alana O'Reilly and Susan Lintern of the College of Charleston won A division with 98 points.
Sailing B division for ODU were Mo Castruccio (Pleasanton, CA) and Elyssa Albert (Leesburg, VA.). They tallied 201 points for 13th spot. Taylor Grimes and Becca Levinson of Stanford won the division with 97 points.
