Monarchs Set To Wrap Up Spring Practice With Blue-White Scrimmage

Norfolk, Va. - The Old Dominion University football team will wrap up its spring drills this Saturday, April 11 at 1 p.m. with the Monarchs Blue-White Scrimmage. The scrimmage will be held at the Powhatan High School Complex on the corner of 43rd and Powhatan Avenue in Norfolk and admission is free.
The scrimmage format will put the Monarch offense up against the ODU defense in a number of segments starting from various points on the field. Offensively, the normal scoring system will be used with six points for a touchdown, three points for a field goal and one point for a PAT. On the defensive side of the ball, six points will be awarded for an interception or fumble recovery and three points for a forced punt or missed field goal. In addition, a safety will go as two points and one point will be awarded for an extra point if an interception or fumble is returned for a touchdown.
