THINK PINK...AGAIN: The Towson Tigers will be hosting their "Think Pink" game on Sunday when the Lady Monarchs come to town.

ABOUT THE LADY MONARCHS: The No. 13/14 Lady Monarchs are winners in their last 15 contests and in 18 of their last 19 games. Old Dominion is coming off an 83-46 victory in a noon showdown with Northeastern to sweep the season series with the Huskies. Senior Megan Pym collected a career-high 19 points and narrowly walked away with a double-double with a game-high nine rebounds. Jordan continues to lead the squad at 14.4 points per game and is followed by sophomore Jessica Canady, who comes off the bench to average 11.21points per contest. Junior Tiffany Green rounds out the trio of Lady Monarchs in double figures at 10.4 points per game. Senior Megan Pym leads the Lady Monarchs on the glass at 7.4 rebounds per game.

ABOUT TOWSON: Towson enters Sunday's contest with a 16-7 overall mark and 8-4 record in the CAA, tied for third in the league along with Virginia Commonwealth and Drexel. The Tigers snapped a three-game slide on Thursday night emerging with a 57-46 win over Hofstra at the Towson Center. The Tigers opened up league action with six straight wins before dropping a 60-56 contest at home to James Madison. Towson is led by Holly Mahan at 13.4 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. Shanae Baker-Brice is other member of the Tiger squad averaging double figures at 11.3 points per gam.

SERIES WITH TOWSON: The Tigers remain one of five CAA teams that have yet to defeat the Lady Monarchs. Old Dominion holds an 10-0 all-time record since the two teams became conference rivals when Towson joined the league in the 2001-02 season. The closest game between these two teams occurred on February 5, 2004 as the Lady Monarchs escaped the Towson Center with a 68-64 victory. Last season, the Lady Monarchs captured an 82-42 win at home in the lone meeting with the Tigers.

LAST TIME VS. TOWSON: Former Lady Monarch Tish Lyons captured a season-high 19 points as she helped the Old Dominion women's basketball team to its best shooting percentage in a game in nearly four years and its largest margin of victory of last season in an 82-42 victory over Towson on February 15th at the Ted Constant Convocation Center. The entire Old Dominion roster scored as Lyons was one of four in double figures. She was joined by Tiffany Green and T.J. Jordan, each with 12, and Shahida Williams with 10. Towson was led by Kelly Robinson with 14 points, moving her into seventh all-time on the Tiger scoring leaders list. Old Dominion shot a blistering 60.4 percent (32-of-53), not only a season-high, but the Lady Monarchs' best shooting percentage since hitting 61.1 percent (33-of-54) against Hofstra in the quarterfinals of the CAA Tournament back on March 13, 2003. The Lady Monarchs held a 37-26 lead at the half and proceeded to outscore the Tigers, 45-16, in half number two. Towson was held scoreless for 6:02 span midway through the second half as Old Dominion rattled off 12 unanswered points. Lyons' final points of the night at the 2:06 mark gave Old Dominion its largest lead, a 42-point, 80-38 advantage.

CAA STREAK: Old Dominion has won its last 23 straight CAA contests. The Lady Monarchs last loss in league play was a 79-50 against James Madison in Harrisonburg on February 1, 2007.

UNDEFEATED - AT HOME: Old Dominion is currently 11-0 at home and finished non-conference play at 5-0 at the Ted Constant Convocation Center.

HOME COURT STREAK: The Lady Monarchs have won a nation-leading 21 straight home contests dating back to the Dec. 20, 2006, 72-55, victory over national runner-up Rutgers. ODU's last loss at the Ted Constant Convocation Center was against national champion Tennessee, 59-75, back on Dec. 22, 2006.

CAA HOME COURT STREAK: The Lady Monarchs have won 32 straight home CAA contests dating back to the January 14, 2005, 78-59, victory over Virginia Commonwealth. ODU's last conference loss at the Ted Constant Convocation Center was against Delaware, 70-73, on January 9, 2005. Old Dominion holds a 153-2 home CAA mark.

ANOTHER THREE POINT RECORD: T.J. Jordan grows ever closer to becoming the CAA's all-time three-point shooter. Jordan connected on 4-of-6 from the arc against Northeastern in the Lady Monarchs' 83-46 win to bring her career three-point field goal total to 303, six shy of tying the league record. The CAA three-point record is currently 309 held by Julie Jones from former CAA member Richmond (1998-92).

CRACKING A TOP TEN: Junior Jazzmin Walters cracked the the top ten junior assist list at Old Dominion on February 7th in the Lady Monarchs' 71-61 win at George Mason. Walters, who entered the game needing two assists to crack the list, dished out six assists against the Patriots and vaulted immediately into seventh place. Walters now stands at sixth on the list with 121 assists to her name in the 2007-08 season.

PASSING A LEGEND: Senior T.J. Jordan has moved up six spots on the ODU all-time scoring list since the beginning of the season. Jordan has already surpassed current WNBA Sacramento Monarch Ticha Penicherio and two-time CAA Player of the Year and 2002 WNBA draftee Lucienne Berthieu on the all-time list. Jordan currently has 1,411 career points and sits in 16th on the all-time list.
