Monarchs Place Third At Joe Agee Invitational

WILLIAMSBURG, VA--Greg Sampson (Warren, RI.) and Stan Guerrero (Tijuana, Mexico) finished in the top ten to lead the Monarchs of Old Dominion to a third place finish at the Joe Agee Invitational. ODU finished with a three-round score of 871, just six strokes behind tournament champion George Washington.

Individually, Sampson shot a 215, including a 68 today to finish five back of Brian Carroll of GW. Stan Guerrero shot a 216 and freshman Matt Watson (Chesapeake, VA.- Western Branch HS-) finished at 217 for 12th spot. ODU returns to action this Friday at the Mission Inn Collegiate in Orlando, Fl.
