NORFOLK, VA -- Junior midfielder Suzanne Wosczyna (Phoenixville, PA) was named the Colonial Athletic Association's Women' Lacrosse Player of the Week it was announced on Monday.

Wosczyna helped the #17 Lady Monarchs (7-3) to a 2-1 week, scoring 22 points on 15 goals and seven assists. She tied the CAA single-game highs in points, assists, and goals while adding 11 groundballs, four draw controls, and seven caused turnovers.

The junior midfielder scored 10 points on five goals and five assists as Old Dominion improved to 3-0 in the CAA with a 15-12 win over William & Mary last Tuesday. She followed with a season-high seven-goal performance to go along with two assists in an 11-5 victory over Temple.

The Lady Monarch women's lacrosse team will return to action on Sunday when they travel to Hempstead, NY for a match-up with CAA rival Hofstra.
