Stahl Named to All-Century Women's Lacrosse Team
Stahl earned a spot as the team's head coach, though she was a formidable player in her own right. A prolific scorer during her time at Ursinus (1962-66), Stahl is widely known for her technical ability and knowledge of the game, skills which have helped her win three consecutive World Cup gold medals.
Stahl has had coaching stints at her alma mater, Temple, and Old Dominion, where she is currently in her tenth season (61-79). In addition, she has been the US National Team coach since 1988. This past year, she was inducted into both the Virginia Lacrosse Hall of Fame and the US National Lacrosse Hall of Fame. In 1997, the International Federation of Women's Lacrosse Association named her the year's Most Outstanding Coach.
