Guerrero Fifth After Two Rounds At VCU

RICHMOND, VA-- Monarch senior Stan Guerrero (Tijuana, Mexico) shot a two-round 141 which is good for fifth at the VCU Shootout. Seth Norman (Virginia Beach,VA.) is tied for 14th with a 145 and ODU as a team is tenth at 579.
ODU was tied for fourth after 18 holes as the Monarchs shot 284. The Monarchs shot 295 in the second 18 holes. The University of Wisconsin and Penn State lead the event with scores of 562.
Individually, Kevin Foley of Penn State shot 65 and 68 for 133 and a two stroke lead, and Guerrero, the CAA Scholar Athlete of the Year for golf as well as Scholar All-American is eight strokes behind him. Both Guerrero and Eric Onesi, the 2007 CAA Rookie of the Year shot 69's in the first round.
