Women's Tennis Gets Back on Track with 4-3 Win over Liberty

NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University women's tennis got back on track with a 4-3 win over Liberty Friday at the Folkes-Stevens Indoor Tennis Center.

The Lady Monarchs last their last two matches, both by a 4-3 score.

After dropping the doubles point, ODU picked things up by winning the first four singles matches. Joanna Dobrowolska won her sixth-straight with a 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 win at the number one spot, followed by a 6-0, 6-3 win at number two by Diana Ivanova. Melissa Esnal Olguin completed a 3-6, 6-2, 6-1 win at number three and Juliana Pires won 7-5, 6-0 at the number four spot.

Dobrowolska and Esnal Olguin won their match at number one doubles, 8-4.

ODU is back in action on Sunday when they take on Marshall at 11 a.m.
