RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Gerald Lee's jumper broke a tie with 3:46 to play Saturday night and sparked a 6-0 run that lifted Old Dominion to a 58-55 victory against Towson in the quarterfinals of the Colonial Athletic Association tournament.

Brian Henderson scored a career high 24 points to lead the Monarchs (24-7), who trailed 30-25 at halftime and then scored 10 straight early in the second half to take the lead. The second-seeded Monarchs will play Hofstra or George Mason in the semifinals on Sunday.

Towson (15-17) kept it close after the run and went back ahead on a 3-pointer by Rocky Coleman with 8:28 left. The Monarchs got consecutive 3-pointers by Henderson, who finished 6-for-9 from behind the arc, to lead 50-45, but a layup by Dennard Abraham and Gary Neal's 3-pointer three-point play with 4:16 to go tied it to set up the finish.

Lee was 3-for-3 from the field and finished with 6 points.

Valdas Vasylius added 12 points, including the last four in the late pullaway run, and Arnaud Dahi had 10 points and eight rebounds for Old Dominion.

Neal lead Towson with 22 points and Rodney Spruill had 13.

Senior guard Drew Wiliamson came up with four steals on the night along with four assists. Arnaud Dahi led both teams with eight rebounds, while Valdas Vasylius was a perfect 10 for 10 from the free throw line.

ODU will meet the George Mason game on Sunday at 5:30 the semi-finals.
