NORFOLK, Va. -- Old Dominion senior forward Katie Watson (Woodbridge, Va./Potomac) was named a First Team All-Mid-Atlantic Region forward today, by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and adidas. This marks the second time she was named an All-Region athlete, earning Second Team honors in 2006. Watson was joined by Claire Zimmeck (William & Mary) and Corky Julien (James Madison) to give the CAA all three forward slots on the First Team.

Watson was a First Team All-CAA honoree for the second time as well, as she was third in the conference in scoring (31 pts), tied for third in goals (12) and tied for fifth in assists (7). She led ODU in every offensive category and scored a career-high tying 33 points this season.
