Lady Monarchs' Road Trip Continues

NORFOLK, VA -- The women's basketball team's road trip continues with match-ups against the BIG EAST's Seton Hall and the ACC's North Carolina this week.
Old Dominion is coming off its Thanksgiving Holiday trip to St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands where they participated in the Paradise Jam presented by Basketball Travelers. The Lady Monarchs finished the tournament in third place with a 1-2 record. Top ranked Duke captured first place with a 3-0 tournament mark. Arkansas placed second (2-1) and Hampton took fourth (0-2). Okeisha Howard was named to the All-Tournament team after averaging 15.2 points per game.
Thursday's game against Seton Hall will be televised by the YES Network in the New York/New Jersey area and Cox Cable (Ch. 71) in the Hampton Roads area. The game will take place at the Continental Airlines Arena, home of the Eastern Conference Champion New Jersey. Nets. The game will also be a double header as the Seton Hall men's team takes on St. Peter's following the women's match-up with Old Dominion.
The Lady Monarchs will fly home on Friday morning and depart on Saturday for Chapel Hill and their meeting with North Carolina, their fifth and final game on the road before returning to the Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, VA.
