Dec. 8, 1994, Petey Sessoms poured in 35 points to lead the Monarchs to a 75-64 win over New Hampshire. In 1967, the Monarchs defeated the University of Baltimore, 122-100.Bob Pritchett scored 31, Harry Lozon 25 and Dick St. Clair added 22 points. The 122 points is the fifth highest point total in school history.

GLOBAL SPECTRUM TO MANAGE CONSTANT CENTER
Old Dominion University has selected the Philadelphia based firm Global Spectrum to manage the 8,600 seat Constant Convocation Center, which is slated to open in late fall of 2002. The highly regarded company provides management for public assembly facilities across the country, most notably the First Union Center, which is home to the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers, as well as facilities at Temple, South Carolina and Rhode Island.

DEFENSE
All six Monarch opponents have shot under 50 percent from the floor. Virginia Tech was held to .298 shooting, the lowest since ODU held American to .259 shooting in 1996. The Hokies scored 19 points in the first half, the lowest since VMI was held to11 in 1982.
