NORFOLK, Va. -- Members of the media from around the region descended onto Foreman Field this afternoon to meet the members of the ODU Football team. The squad, many of who were stepping foot onto Foreman Field, their game day home, for the first time, conducted interviews throughout the afternoon, posed for photos, and took video with Big Screen Network.

After taking the official team photo and shots with their position coaches, the Monarchs took their official head shots. Many members of the squad were also involved in filming video, which will be included on the the new state-of-the-art video board installed recently at Foreman Field.

The video board can display more than 280 trillion colors on a nearly 17 x 30 size screen. The technology on the video board enables every LED pixel to be shared by the surrounding pixel, increasing the resolution three of four fold, hence delivering a higher quality image to the human eye.

Helping with the content for the video board is Big Screen Network (BSN), a company which has designed graphics and produced events for the Olympics, Super Bowl, NCAA Championships, Rose Bowl, MLB, ESPN, and many other.

Members of the media also got to hear the new sound system being tested. The new audio system was designed by the same company that designed the audio system for the new Yankee Stadium, Camden Yards, FedEx Field, and many other professional and collegiate stadiums. The distributed speaker system are mounted on the light poles with 33 speakers in the Ainslie Football Complex.
