Waller Signs With Monarchs

Old Dominion University men's basketball coach Jeff Capel announced that John Waller, III, the Capital District Player-of the Year from Richmond, Va. has signed a letter of intent with the Monarchs.

Waller, a 6-4 forward from Highland Springs, scored more than 1,100 points during his high school career and set a single-game scoring record this year when he tossed in 60 points against Lee-Davis High School. He averaged 26.4 points a game and 8.2 rebounds and earned first team All- Central Region and All-Metro honors.
