KINGS POINT, NY. (June 8) - Senior Heather Pescatello (Westerly, RI.) and junior Adam Burns (Youngstown, NY.) repeated as first team Sailing All-Americans as announced on June 8 by the Intercollegiate Yacht and Racing Association. For Pescatello, it is the third straight year she has earned All-America honors. Burns earns All-American honors for the second straight year.

Both sailors helped lead the Monarchs to a fifth place finish yesterday at the Collegiate Co-ed Dinghy Sailing National Championships. Earlier this spring at the America Trophy, both Burns and Pescatello sailed the Monarchs to a first place finish in "A" Division. Both also finished fifth at the Thompson Trophy regatta in Kings Point, NY, and the Truxton Umstead Regatta at the Naval Academy.

Pescatello joins Flurry Normann (?89) as the school's only three-time All-American Lady Monarch sailors. Terry Hutchinson (?90) and Jim Weber (?90) are the school's only four-time sailing All-Americans.
