NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion University women's lacrosse team returns to action on Saturday at 1 p.m. when they take on Louisville at the UofL Lacrosse Stadium.

Louisville (2-0) defeated Canisius easily in the opener, 13-3, before stunning No. 13 Ohio State, 12-11, at home last Saturday in a last minute thriller.

Sophomore midfielder Ashmore Standing scored a team-high three goals and grabbed four groundballs at JHU on Saturday while freshman midfielder Nicole Bellini added a pair of goals and a draw control. Sophomore goalkeeper Karen Hayde tallied seven saves last weekend.

The Cardinals are led by BIG EAST Player of the Week junior midfielder Nikki Boltja who has seven goals on the season while junior midfielder Colleen O'Malley had added five goals for U of L. In between the pipes, junior Ashley Herbst had 14 saves and allowed 14 goals.
