Monarchs' Funk In Second At Maisa Laser Opener

ANNAPOLIS, MD-Old Dominion junior skipper Bradley Funk (Harbor Bluffs, FL) is in second place at the MAISA Laser Opener with 62 points. Funk, a former junior national champ, is making his first collegiate sailing apperance.

St. Mary's Anthony Kotoun leads the event with 55 points, followed closely by Funk (62), Georgetown's Ryan Costello (68), Queen's Brian Luttmer (70) and St. Mary's Dan Pletsch (77). Matt Allen (St. Beverly, MA) and Augi Hernandez (Arlington Heights, IL) are in 14th and 15th places respectively for the Monarchs.

The competitors will complete competition on Sunday.
