NEWPORT NEWS, Va (February 4, 2000) -- The Old Dominion men's tennis team collected its second win in as many matches, winning a 7-0 decision over George Washington Feb. 4 at the indoor facilites at the Center Court Racquet Club in Newport News.
Old Dominion swept both the singles matches and won the doubles point for the 7-0 win. Rodrigo Laender (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) earned his first career victory at first singles. The Monarchs improve to 2-0 on the spring season and will travel to Richmond for a 4-1 format match with Va. Commonwealth, Navy, and Richmond on February 11.
