Men's Tennis Keeps Making History

NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion men's tennis team keeps climbing the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Poll coming in a #25 this week, marking the third time this season the Monarchs have achieved the highest ranking in school history.
The Monarchs previously were ranked at #36 back on February 27th behind its upset over then #35 North Carolina State and then climbed to #30 a week later. Now the Old Dominion Monarchs a week later have climbed five more spots for its #25 ranking in the March 13th poll.
Old Dominion boasts a 10-4 record with wins over fellow ranked opponents North Carolina State, Western Michigan, and Texas A&M - Corpus Christi. All four losses have come against ranked opponents, including two in the nation's top ten.
The #30 Old Dominion men's tennis team returns to action on March 17th when they take Georgetown and Norfolk State.
