ODU Tied For Sixth After First Round of the CAA Championships

HOT SPRINGS, VA-- ODU senior Eric Onesi (Bear, De.) shot 73 in the first round and is tied for 11th at the CAA Men's Golf Championships. As a team, the Monarchs are tied for sixth after shooting 304.

Towson leads the event with a 283, while John Duthie of Towson shot a 68 to lead all individuals.

Onesi had three birdies on the day as he shot 36 on the front and 37 on the back nine. He is five strokes behind the current leader. ODU junior Seth Norman (Virginia Beach, Va.) is tied for 25th after shooting 76 today.
