Laura Beeman Named to Women's Soccer All-CAA Second-Team

HEMPSTEAD, NY - Sophomore Forward Laura Beeman (Chalfont, PA) was named to the All-Colonial Athletic Association Second Team, as selected by the CAA Women's Soccer Coaches, which was released November 6 in Hempstead, NY. Beeman scored a team-leading eight goals, including one game-winning goal, and had 16 points during the season. The Lady Monarchs ended their season November 1, tying Radford 1-1, to end 3-9-5 for the year, 2-5-2 in the CAA.

Jen Parsons of Virginia Commonwealth earned the 2003 CAA Player of the Year honors, Dolores Deasley of Hofstra is the 2003 CAA Defender of the Year, William & Mary's Katie Hogwood and Hofstra's Jacki Pollaro were 2003 CAA Co-Rookies of the Year, and Hofstra head coach JoAnne Russell is the 2003 CAA Coach of the Year.
