SERIES VS. TOWSON ODU leads, 23-1 The Monarchs defeated Towson three times last year, including the CAA quarterfinals. The Tigers' only win over ODU was a 67-56 decision in 2001-02
in the ODU Fieldhouse.

LAST GAME No. 10 Missouri defeated ODU, 81-58 last Thursday in Columbia, MO.which ended ODU's four-game winning streak. Mizzou had five players in double figures led by Marcus Denmon
with 22. The Tigers hit nine treys. ODU was led by Frank Hassell with 12 points and Marquel De Lancey with a career high 10 points. Chris Cooper added a career high tying nine points along with
nine boards. ODU shot .479 (23-48) from the floor but commmitted 21 turovers. Missouri shot .500 (29-58) from the floor.

STRONG PERFORMANCE IN NON-CONFERENCE PLAY CAA teams have combined for a 73-50 record against non-conference foes. The CAA is 3-4 against the ACC (ODU over Clemson, VCU and
UNCW over Wake Forest), and has two wins over the Big East (Drexel over Louisville, JMU over South Florida), 8-6 vs. the Atlantic 10
with ODU beating Xavier, Dayton and Richmond, as well as VCU's win over UCLA.

FIVE CAA TEAMS IN TOP 100 OF RPI According to RPIratings. Com, ODU was 13, Drexel 15, George Mason 69, JMU 78, and VCU 79. The CAA ranked #10 among the nation's
32 Division I Conferences.

CRASHING THE GLASS ODU is out-rebounding foes by 12.3 per game, while Drexel is at 12.6 per game. Drexel ranked Second nationally in rebound margin and ODU was third as of Dec. 20th.

ODU WINS PARADISE JAM TOURNAMENT: Old Dominion knocked off Xavier, 67-58 on Nov. 22 to win the Paradise Jam Tournament in the Virgin Islands. Senior forward Frank Hassell paced the Monarchs with 16 points and eight rebounds Against Xavier. Senior Ben Finney was named tournament MVP and was joined by Hassell on the All-Tournament team. ODU posted victories over St. Peter's, and Clemson in the tournament.
