FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) - Lucienne Berthieu had 19 points and eight rebounds Sunday to lead No. 25 Old Dominion to a 71-51 victory over George Mason.

Sharron Francis added 13 points and Hamchetou Maiga 12 as the Lady Monarchs (9-5, 6-0 Colonial Athletic Association) won their 27th in a row over the Lady Patriots (9-7, 3-2). Shareese Grant had 10 rebounds and eight points as Old Dominion outrebounded George Mason 55-37.

Freshman forward Laura Kooij had 21 points and five rebounds to lead George Mason. Kooij followed her 3-pointer with a steal and layup to pull the Lady Patriots to 40-35 with 12:45 remaining.

Kooij hit her fourth 3-pointer and Khalilah Smith followed with a jumper to pull George Mason to 48-42 with 7:30 left, but that was close as the Lady Patriots got down the stretch.

Maiga scored eight of Old Dominion's final 18 points as the Lady Monarchs remained unbeaten in CAA play.

George Mason ended the first half with a 9-0 run, capped by Shelbylynn McBride's buzzer-beater that pulled the Lady Patriots to 31-26 at halftime. The Lady Monarchs, who bolted to a 12-2 lead in the opening five minutes, shot only 30 percent in the first half.
