Monarch Men's Tennis Falls To Princeton

NORFOLK, VA -- The Old Dominion men's tennis team fell to 2-2 on the season with a 5-2 loss to Ivy League member Princeton.
Three Monarchs were winners in singles action all in straight setes. Sophomore Zoltan Csanadi (Timisoara, Romania) defeated Judson Williams at first singles, 6-3, 7-5. Junior Slman Mohammed (Calcutta, India) was victorious, 6-3, 6-4, at third singles over Darren Joe. Teammate sophomore Niklas Oskarsson used a 6-2, 6-4 match for a victory at fifth singles. Sophomore Calin Milos dropped a 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 match at second singles to Trevor Smith while junior Patrik Binkowski (Orby, Sweden) fell 6-2, 6-4 at fourth singles.
Princeton won both doubles matches on the afternoon. Binkowski and Csanadi lost 8-4 to the team of Burman and Friedmann, while Kofol and Williams defeated Milos and Oskarsson, 8-6.
