Monarch Sailing Kicks Off Spring Campaign This Weekend

NORFOLK, VA -The Old Dominion sailing team will kick off their spring sailing campaign this weekend, participating in the ODU Scrimmage as well as the College of Charleston Women's Doublehanded. Both events will begin on Saturday and end Sunday. The ODU Scrimmage will feature most of the team, including all the male sailors. Georgetown, Navy and St. Mary's College are sending teams down to participate.

The College of Charleston Women's Doublehanded will have Maureen Castruccio (Pleasanton, CA) and Cara Gibbons-Neff (Annapolis, MD) in A division and Cara DiSanti (Seacliff, NY) and Stefani Dyer (Virginia Beach, VA) in B division. Not participating this weekend is Anna Tunnicliffe (Perrysburg, OH), who is currently in Fort Lauderdale, FL for the 11-day Olympic Trials.
