BIG BLUE CLUB UPDATE: Tropical Storm Hanna Stalls Re-Seating Process

NORFOLK, Va. -- Old Dominion University officials have cancelled Saturday classes in anticipation of the rain, winds and tidal flooding expected from Tropical Storm Hanna.

Old Dominion University officials have cancelled Saturday classes in anticipation of the rain, winds and tidal flooding expected from Tropical Storm Hanna. The storm is projected to move across the Hampton Roads region around mid-day Saturday, bringing heavy downpours, thunderstorms, winds of 40-60 mph, and minor tidal flooding at high tide.

Campus officials expect to resume normal operations on Sunday and classes to begin at their normal time on Monday.

Following the University class cancellation, the Big Blue Club re-seating process for men's and women's season ticket holders has been moved forward one day to assure the safety of Big Blue Club members as well as the university faculty and staff.

Listed below is the new schedule for Big Blue Club members:


Friday 12:00 Noon - 8:00 p.m.
Saturday Closed
Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Monday 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday 12:00 Noon - 1:30 p.m.
