ODU Swimming Hosts CAA Quad Match Friday and Saturday

NORFOLK, VA--The Old Dominion University swimming and diving squad is back in action Friday night and Saturday afternoon as they host conference rivals William & Mary, Delaware, and Northeastern at the J.C. "Scrap" Chandler pool. Swimming begins at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, with the diving portions taking place at 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Monday. More swimming will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is free
ODU men's swimming is off to a 3-0 start after handing Drexel a 132-104 defeat. The women's side improved to 3-1 on the year after they swam past Drexel 130-102. During last week's meet, the squad took individual victories in the first eighteen events en route to the respective wins. Last season, the men's team swept William & Mary while the women dropped decisions to both schools. Northeastern is the newest addition to the CAA in 2005.
The Monarchs hit the road for the next two months, and will not return home until late January when they face College of Charleston.
ODU swimming and diving returns to competition the weekend of November 19th as travel to Lewisburg, PA to take part in the Bucknell Invitational.
