Monarchs Season Ended In CAA Semifinals

Norfolk, Va. - The Old Dominion University men's tennis season came to an end Saturday afternoon with the third seeded Monarchs 4-1 loss to second seeded William & Mary in the semifinals of the CAA Men's Tennis Championships.

After winning the doubles point to go ahead 1-0, William & Mary need just three singles victories to close out the contest. Rodrigo Souza defeated Dominic Pagon 6-1, 6-3 at No. 3 to give the Monarchs their only point, but the Tribe answered with wins at No. 1, No. 4 and No. 5 to move on to the final round.
