Weather Concerns Postpone Swimming and Diving Meet

NORFOLK, Va – The Old Dominion University men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams had already boarded their bus, when they received news that the University of Delaware cancelled the meet between the two schools.
ODU was scheduled to square off against the Blue Hens in Newark, Delaware on Saturday, October 27; however, Hurricane Sandy had other ideas. In fact, the University of Delaware announced that classes will be cancelled on Monday, October 29.
There has been no announcement about the possibility of rescheduling this postponed meet at this time.
After starting the season 2-0, the Lady Monarchs will host George Mason, Northeastern, and Towson on Friday, November 2, at the J.C. "Scrap" Chandler Pool in the Old Dominion Student Recreation Center. The four team competition will conclude on Saturday, November 3.
The men’s swimming and diving team will also return to action on Friday, November 2, when they will welcome George Mason and Towson for a two day showdown.
