Women's Tennis Tops UMBC, 5-2

Highlights from this weekend's matches

NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University women's tennis delivered a 5-2 win over UMBC Saturday at the Folkes-Stevens Indoor Tennis Center.

After dropping the doubles point, Diana Ivanova got the Lady Monarchs on the board with a 6-2, 6-0 victory at number two singles. Melissa Esnal Olguin followed with a 6-2, 6-3 win while Joanna Dobrowolska picked up a 6-3, 6-3 win at the number one spot.

Juliana Pires and Margarita Belyakova also picked up wins for the Lady Monarchs at the No. 3 and No. 6 spot, respectively.

The Lady Monarchs are back in action tomorrow morning as they take on Texas Arlington at 10 a.m.
