Women's Tennis Faces William and Mary in CAA Tennis Quarterfinals

NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University women's tennis is the No. 5 seed in the CAA Tennis Championship and takes on No. 4 William and Mary Friday, April 20 at 4 p.m.
The championship will be held on ODU's campus at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center. The Lady Monarchs are 12-9 overall and 2-3 against CAA foes while the Tribe are 6-15 on the year and just 1-2 in CAA play.
The two teams met April 6 with the Tribe winning a close match, 4-3. The CAA Women's Tennis Championship starts Thursday, April 19 when No. 8 Drexel and No. 9 Towson start things off at 9 a.m.
No. 7 Delaware and No. 10 Hofstra start at 11:30 a.m. while No. 6 James Madison faces No. 11 George Mason at 2 p.m.
Quarterfinal play begins Friday, April 20 with No. 3 Georgia State facing the JMU vs. Mason winner at 8:30 a.m.
No. 2 UNCW plays the UD vs. Hofstra winner at 11 a.m. followed by No. 1 VCU vs. the Towson, Drexel winner at 1:30 p.m.
ODU and W&M finish things off at 4 p.m.
