NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University football hosts their annual spring football game at Foreman Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium on Saturday, April 20 at 3 p.m.

The spring game culminates the 15 spring practices and is free admission to the public. The Big Blue BBQ will be held in the Porsche Silver Lot from 12:30-3 p.m. prior to the start of the spring game. The Barbeque is a ticketed event, with tickets $25 at the gate. There will be music provided by the Island Boys, as well as inflatable's and games. With your Barbeque ticket, fans will get free admission into the baseball game vs. William and Mary at 4 p.m. Ted Alexander and Andy Mashaw will have the call of the game on ESPN Radio 94.1.

The Spring Game
• Foreman Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium

• Concession stands and seating available on west side of stadium
• Postgame autograph session on the field

The Monarchs will split into two teams for the game, pitting the Blue Team vs. the White Team.

Record-setting quarterback and Walter Payton Award Winner, Taylor Heinicke, will lead the Blue Team while returning starters on defense, including John Darr and Caleb Taylor, will play for the White Team.

The game will consist of four, eight-minute quarters, with a running clock until the final two minutes.

2012 Accolades
Old Dominion had a record-setting season in 2012 and have several players returning who earned various honors in the fall, including quarterback Taylor Heinicke, wide receiver Antonio Vaughan, offensive linemen David Born and Jack Lowney, and defensive lineman Dominique Guinn-Bailey.

Coach of the Year
ODU Head Coach Bobby Wilder joined in the list of accolades as he was named American Football Monthly Coach of the Year and CaptainU Coach of the Year, after leading ODU to an 11-2 season and leading the Monarchs to a first place finish in the CAA.
