When did you begin playing football?
I played my first season at 9 years old.
Who has had the greatest impact on your career?
My family, because they have supported me every step of the way.
Why did you choose to attend ODU?
I wanted to be a part of history in being the first team in a while.
What has been the biggest difference between high school football and college football?
The level of play. The other guys here are bigger, faster, and smarter than the kids in high school.
What has it been the best part about being a member of ODU’s first football team in over 60 years?
Definitely the facilities. These facilities make it a whole lot easier to play.
If you could play another position what would it be and why?
Running back so I could score some touchdowns.
Favorite sports other than your own?
After meeting Coach Wilder for the first time, what were your thoughts?
I thought he was motivated and he knew what he wanted from this football team.
After meeting your position coach for the first time, what were your thoughts?
He was a good guy. I felt I could learn a lot from him.
Do you have a pre-game ritual, if so what is it?
I have to listen to motivational music before every game.
What is your funniest memory from an ODU practice this far?
Practicing in the down pour of rain, and seeing everyone soaking wet. And watching the coaches trying to talk loud enough for us to hear them during the rain.
If you could line up opposite any player in the NFL and go 1-on-1, who would it be and why?
Probably one of the kickers. I'm pretty sure I can take them on.
What is one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?
I can be the most stubborn person ever.
What is your dream job?
To own a professional sports team.
What is your most valued possession?
The watch that my parents got me for my birthday.
What is your favorite place to eat on campus?
