T.J. Jordan Named CAA Co-Player Of The Week

NORFOLK, Va. -- Senior T.J. Jordan (Portsmouth, Va.), who had missed Old Dominion's previous two outings with a foot injury, returned to the hardwood to lead the No. 19 Lady Monarchs to a pair of SEC road wins last week was named the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Co-Player of the Week it was announced Tuesday by the conference office.
Jordan averaged 18.5 points and shot 56.5 percent from the floor and 56.3 from three-point range last week. In her first game back from injury, Jordan led all scorers with 22 points. It was her third 20 + point outing of the season and 15th of her career. Against No. 21/20 Vanderbilt, the senior guard led her team in scoring for the eighth time this season as one of five Lady Monarchs in double figure. She netted 15 points all coming from downtown.
On the year, Jordan is averaging a team-leading 17.2 points per game.
Old Dominion, who moved up four notches in the Associated Press Poll following last week's wins over Kentucky and Vanderbilt, return to action on Sunday, January 6th at Georgia State to open up CAA action. The game will be televised on Comcast SportsNet.
